Re: Northampton Event Sign-Up

Thanks Chris

I saw Duncan MacDonald earlier tonight, and he confirmed that he is able to make it.

Hence please add us both for all day, plus chicken curry each.

Will be great, as always, I am sure!

Cheers

As confirmed in a voicemail message I hope Gareth got, Duncan cannot make it, unfortunately. So, just Dick and I.

Still not entirely sure on one thing - however...

Dick Cribb

for all day, including Curry.

Hoping also for Duncan McDonald to be with us - which will again be for the whole thing, if he can make it. He has to hear back on something before he can say for certain. Will clarify ASAP.

HOPING that there will be three or four of us at Flitwick. Numbers to be finalised.

Not sure yet about the curry - will update on both matters as soon as I know facts for sure!

Re: Continuous Quiz: High Brow

As a gesture of goodwill, the answer is Staplehurst for the train crash. A significant event - but not significant enough to have caught the attention of anyone here, it would seem!

And Happy Christmas to all!

Re: Continuous Quiz: High Brow

A clue - the crash was in Kent (though not Rochester), in a more southerly, semi-rural location.

Re: Continuous Quiz: High Brow

Dickens is indeed the person.

Not Rochester for the crash, though.

Keep at it!

Re: Continuous Quiz: High Brow

Thanks Pete.

A 19th Century figure was involved in a train crash. Though a survivor, they died 5 years to the day later.

Who was it, AND where was the crash?
