Hi Chris. I will be coming, I will either pay on the day or a few days before hand. I am not sure about the team quiz, all depends if the others stay as I am getting a lift down.

Cheers

Dan

Chris

Can you add Barry Howbridge, Mike Foden and myself to the list?
We'll be staying morning and afternoon so Daniel will be doing the same (assuming he gets up early enough on Saturday morning!!)

We are delighted to announce that Bavaria - that's the brewers, not the Federal Lander - is sponsoring our event in Rolleston [thanks to Kevin Ashman for helping set that up] and indeed we hope this will be the start of an ongoing relationship.

Bavaria have very generously given us cases of beer (each 15x500ml) to award as prizes for the afternoon team quiz. So, plenty to play for there!!!!!

Please bung us down for the evening meal too.

Cheers

Ken

[Marvelous! You'll enjoy the curry, I promise. Chris]

Hi again Chris!

At the time of the previous posting, I hadn't had chance to double-check with Pat and Helen regarding the curry.

As I had half-suspected, they intend to go off for a pizza (Pat is not a great lover of Indian food), so they can have "girly-chat catch up time". Dick and I will still be there -and, of course, all four of us for the quiz.

Is there likely to be anything happening (food or ad hoc quizzing wise) on the Friday night for those who travel the day before?

Cheers

Ken

[Hi Ken, situation noted re curry for Helen & Pat. There's plenty else for them to go for, including a highly regarded Thai restaurant. And there's no reason they can't kick off their evening in the pub with us. And yes, there will be something for the Friday evening. I'll find us somewhere to meet up - where are you staying? Are you going with my recommendation to book in at the new Travelodge in the centre of Burton?]
