The first Grand Prix of 2015 (Saturday 10th January 2015) sees us back at the popular Lime Tree Park Working Men's Club in Coventry where we will be back in the hands of genial hosts Craig Element and Danielle Cartwright.

Lime Tree Park Working Mens Club
Templar Avenue Coventry, West Midlands CV4 9BQ
Schedule:
11.00 Registration
11.30 Individual Quiz
13.00 Marking
13.45 Lunch - Fish and Chips!
14.45 Craig and Danielle's Team Quiz (Chris will put you all in teams for this event)
16.15 Prizes and results
16.30 January Hot 100
17.30 Formal event closes
Entry: £25, lunch provided*, £12.50 for first time attendees. If possible, please pay via PayPal as it reduces registration times on the day. Our PayPal address is payments@quizzing.co.uk
*Anyone with a genuine aversion/intolerance to Fish n Chips is welcome to bring a packed lunch and their entry fee will be discounted by £4. This will need to be agreed beforehand so we don't over-order massively from the chippy!
After the formal close of the event there will be ample opportunity for ad hoc quizzing and then a group will be forming to go for a curry!

Re: Coventry GP - 10 January 2015
Please register Ian Townsend for the Coventry event on 10 January 15. Unfortunately I do not have paypal so will pay on the day.
Do you know how far the venue is from Coventry main railway station please?
Regards,
Ian..
I'm guessing Tile Hill station might be a good place to get off, if you're coming in that way, otherwise it's likely 10 minute cab ride or 20-30 minutes by bus. So, however, I'm guessing if you post your arrival time here or on Facebook you can find someone to share the cab fare. Regards, Chris

I'll be there. Norman Fee is planning to join me - it's his first time. Fish & chips is fine for me. Norman is a bit of a pescaphobe - are there other options from the chipper (pies, sausages etc.)?
Norman's welcome but the chippy order has to be kept simple, sorry. Chris

Thanx Chris,
It'll be double chips for him and double fish for me in that case. Hmmm - brain food.
