Collecting numbers for a trip to a local curry house early evening after the GP - looking to make a booking for 6.45pm.

I know Ken Owen and Mark Laycock are up for it, and I too will be eating. Anyone else?

Last time we were in Birmingham, four of us ate in a fabulous Italian restaurant called Pavarotti's. Having mentioned this to Chris, he agrees we should try that [it may be that, having had chilli/curry at lunch, people might prefer something different in the evening]. I have booked it for 6.45pm, as per Chris's suggestion.

Perhaps too it might appeal to some of our quizzers who don't normally go for an Indian because they prefer other cuisines?

You can go for basic pizzas and pastas, but also lots of other more exotic dishes. Link below shows standard and speciality menus.

It is just 4 miles [7 minutes] from the Quiz venue, virtually straight along the A45 and a short turn-off.

Here is the website so you can check it out.

When we were there Pat Collet had a baked goat's cheese starter [a dish she likes and has often]. She said it was the best she had ever had!

Hope many of you lovely quizzers can join us. Please help by signing up swiftly, so we can confirm numbers to the eaterie.

Cheers!

Ken
