World Quizzing Championships - S England (3 June)

The Southern England leg of the World Quizzing Championships event will take place just off the M1 to the north of London in Harpenden.

(There is parking at Harpenden train station - a 3 minute walk away, and limited blue badge spaces by the theatre).

11.30 - Registration
12.00 - WQC Paper 1
13.00 - Marking & short break
13.30 - WQC Paper 2
14.30 - Marking
15.00 – Lunch
16.00 - Last One Standing
17.30 – Pop Quiz
19.00 - WQC Preliminary Results and Prizes
19.30 - Close.
Cost: £30, lunch included - fish and chips from the award-winning Godfrey's Fish and Chip Shop.
Whilst not at all compulsory, it helps us enormously to have people paying in advance. You can do this via PayPal. Our PayPal account is payments@quizzing.co.uk - Thank you!
Hot 100
The WQC takes the place of the standard Hot100 paper for June. Ranking points are calculated as per normal though - i.e. your WQC score is converted into two-digits, representing your overall total (7 genres) as a percentage of the 2017 World Champion's score.
The monthly Hot 100 international quiz is a great training tool for the WQC as it's available at venues all over the country. Details can be found at http://www.worldquizrankings.com
