quiz teams in halton/rainhill/widnes area

Are there any teams in the above area looking for a new member. Have looked at Merseyside Quiz League site but not very helpful!!

There aren't currently any teams playing in the Widnes area, though the Warrington league (www.warringtonQL.org.uk) officially covers this area.

In Rainhill there are two teams - Judges and Rainhill Victoria, both playing in the Liverpool League and based at the Victoria Hotel. Details are on the Liverpool site (www.quizliverpool.org.uk)

The main LQL and WQL seasons are finished at the moment, though the Mersey Summer Quiz League is currently running. The website is at www.merseysummerquiz.org.uk

Judges and Rainhill Vic are playing in this, as well as two Warrington teams based in Penketh. You would be most welcome to come along to any of these matches, which would give you the chance to look out for a team in the main season. Send an email via the summer league website and I'll put you in touch with one or other of the teams.

Thanks for the advice - got in touch with a team in Liverpool quiz league who play in pub at bottom of my street!! Currently working hard towards promotion from Division 3 (hopefully)
