From hanging about with Gricers in my youth, I thought the junction might be Carstairs ...

but that doesn't fit with the theme, I see. I presumed too much (now there's a hint!)

There seems to have been a Stanley railway station, that would fit the link.

They're all Masters of the King's/Queen's Music. I can't see an odd one out though. I'm sure someone else will have.
