British Quizzing Championships 2019

We are delighted to announce the details of this year's British Quizzing Championships, including the inaugural British Team Quizzing Championship. This quiz will use a pub-style quiz format for teams of up to four players with questions that follow our usual genres, plus a picture round and a music round - 100 questions in total.

The cost to take part is £30.00, including lunch. It is very helpful if you can pay in advance via PayPal - payments@quizzing.co.uk

Our plan is to run the annual British Quizzing Championships event over two days from 2020 to allow us to expand the number of events. More detail will be given at this year's event.

11.30 - British Individual Quizzing Championship* (part one - written paper with 120 questions over 50 minutes plus marking)
12.40 - Break
12.50 - British Individual Quizzing Championship* (part two - written paper with 120 questions over 50 minutes plus marking)
14.00 - Buffet Lunch
15.00 - British Pairs Quizzing Championship* (written paper with 100 questions over seven rounds, per the EQC)
17.00 - Break
17.30 - Inaugural British Team Quizzing Championship (pub-style quiz format for teams of up to four players with questions that follow our usual genres, plus a picture round and a music round - 100 questions in total)
19.30 - Optional Curry Dinner (£7.00 payable on the day) - Northants venue only
20.30 - Second Annual Neil Phillips Memorial Pop Quiz - Northants venue only.
22.30 - Close
